Websites I’ve found helpful. There are a lot of sites out there with great information.

Friendly Aquaonics – Aquaponics Hawai’i style. The first organic certified aquaponic farm.

Rob Bob – Here’s a fun site filled with a lot of stuff.

Nelson and Pade – Great depth of resources.

Aquaponic Source – Lots of information.

Fishnet Aquaponics – Looked for a fingerling supplier for a long time. Settled on going to Chico until I stumbled upon this family business in Santa Cruz. Little hard to find but they sell small quantities of catfish.

Tilapia is one of the most farmed fish in the world. It is also highly invasive in warm waters. Although allowed in Southern California they are not allowed to be farmed in Northern California. Tilapia do not do well in cold water. They do not survive in water below 50 degrees. Catfish are better suited for this climate.

Aquaponic Solutions – From Australia. Lots of great information.

Backyard Aquaponics – Ideas for the backyard. Again, lots of great ideas.
